Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 3+ years of project management experience with cross-functional teams.
• 1+ year of scoping, time, cost, quality, stakeholder and risk management in projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive idea generation in workshops to develop cost pipeline.
• Scope ideas to understand technical and financial feasibility.
• Analyze SIR (Quality rates) to generate field insights and open quality projects.
• Analyze BOM data to identify cost saving opportunities and feasibility.
• Manage cost and quality projects following Whirlpool PD methodology (PMI-based).
• Drive BOM changes in Windchill / SAP and create work plans to implement changes in production.
• Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, subsystems, manufacturing, marketing and quality stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance on change management processes: BOM, FMEA, DVP&R, PPAP.
• Collaborate with SMEs and V&V teams to validate design integrity and production processes.

## Senior Analyst, Engineering (Cost and Quality System Integration)Tulsa,Oklahoma,USA## **This role in summary**The Cost & Quality and Day to Day System Integrator will manage multiple project management to ensure timely execution and delivery of product design optimization opportunities to improve the cost or/ and the quality of the product.Maintain manufacturing productivity by resolving factory issues associated with product design in alignment with subsystem teams. Identify and capture efficiency opportunities through product design improvements Will scope ideas and bring them to execution using the Whirlpool Product Development methodology for projects. Acting as a central technical integrator, you will align stakeholders, clarify project ownership, drive transparent decision making, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.## **Your responsibilities will include*** Drive idea generation in workshops to develop cost pipeline* Scope ideas in order to understand project feasibility (technical / financial)* Analyze SIR (Quality rates) information to generate insights on field trends and open Quality projects* Analyze Bill of Materials (BOM) data to identify cost saving opportunities and evaluate project technical/financial feasibility.* Manage and execute cost and quality projects following the WPD (Whirlpool product development) methodology (based on PMI)* Drive and manage BOM changes in Windchill / SAP* Create work plans ( schedules) to complete projects and introduce changes into production* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders as part of the project execution (Suppliers, Procurement, Subsystems, Manufacturing, Marketing, Quality)* Provide technical guidance across change management processes, including BOM and literature updates, FMEAs (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), DVP&Rs (Design Validation Plan & Report), and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).* Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Verification & Validation (V&V) teams to validate design integrity, partnering with Manufacturing Assembly to validate production processes.* Effectively exchange critical project information with key internal and external stakeholders (Suppliers, Procurement, Subsystems, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Quality).* Drive EPI project prioritization within the assigned portfolio, fostering an environment of accountability and continuous operational delivery.* Drive strategy and \"change the work\" initiatives to enhance team engagement, efficiency, and delivery standards.* Mentor and guide the broader team both professionally and technically.## **Minimum requirements*** Bachelor's Degree in Engineering* 3+ year of experience in project management working with cross functional teams* 1+ year of experience with scoping, time, cost, quality, stakeholder and risk management working on projects.* Strong leadership, influence, and stakeholder management capability (ability to guide without direct authority).* Proficient in English* Project management skills and system integration## **Preferred skills and experiences*** Experience in the Home Appliance industry.* Product development & project delivery methodology experience.* Product parts & capital tooling tracker system experience.* Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) knowledge.* SAP / ERP systems experience.* MS Office, Google Suite, Excel/Google Sheets Formulas, Charts, Macro/Scripts.* MS Project and/or SmartSheets.* Budget management, financial planning and analysis, capital management.* Critical thinking and diagnostic capability in a fast-paced environment.* Proactively take ownership of issues and drive solutions.* Organization, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.People skills to work in cross-functional teams with a can-do attitude and ability to integrate.**Whirlpool's Ways of Working**Our goal is to provide an environment that helps you bring your best to Whirlpool every day.
