The AES Corporation seeks a Senior Analyst, Structures & Pricing to join our Commercial team in Houston. You will support the structuring, valuation, and commercial analysis of solar, wind, energy storage and thermal opportunities.

You will collaborate across Origination, Trading, Engineering, Risk Management, and Digital teams to deliver innovative solutions for utilities, hyperscalers, data centers, and large energy buyers. This role emphasizes advanced analytics and scalable workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.
• Experience in energy valuation, commercial analysis, or structured products.
• Knowledge of wholesale energy markets and renewables economics.
• Experience building models in Python, R, MATLAB, or VBA.

Responsibilities

• Design structured energy products and valuation models for renewables and conventional assets.
• Collaborate with Origination, Trading, Engineering, Risk and Analytics teams.
• Support transactions with analytics, validation, and reporting.
• Enhance automation and scalability of analytical workflows.
