Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an IS/OT Support Engineer to provide plant-level technical support across SCADA, MES/MOM, and automation systems. You will help implement and maintain Ignition-based IIoT solutions and collaborate with plant operations, engineering, and IT teams.

Responsibilities include SQL queries, PC/server support, and ensuring network health, with a focus on troubleshooting and independent work in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA systems, Ignition preferred
• Knowledge of OPC-UA, MQTT, IIoT architectures
• SQL and data visualization tools
• MES/MOM systems (e.g., Traksys)
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS)
• Exposure to Python, JavaScript, or similar
• SAP / WMS exposure (Blue Yonder) a plus
• Cloud and virtual systems knowledge
• Strong troubleshooting and independence
• Manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities
