Job summary

RTX is seeking a Demand Planning professional to develop and maintain an 18+ month demand plan for OE, Aftermarket, and MRO spares, using historical data and business intelligence. You will lead cross-functional reviews and translate demand into master schedule requirements to support operations.

The role requires prior experience in demand planning and forecasting, up to 20% travel, and familiarity with Kinaxis and SAP.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Prior experience in Demand Planning and Forecasting.
• Travel as business needs dictate—could be up to 20%.
• Preferred experience with SAP and Kinaxis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain rolling 18+ month minimum unconstrained demand plan for OE, Aftermarket, and MRO / Spares using inputs of historical data, customer and business intelligence.
• Lead Demand Reviews and drive cross-functional alignment on the consensus demand plan.
• Translate customer demand into requirements that support the master schedule and Operations.
• Support SIOP activities, including financial reconciliation, supply reviews, and executive reviews.
• Analyze demand, orders, inventory, market trends, and forecast variances to identify risks and opportunities.
• Develop build-to-stock recommendations, burn-down plans, sales forecasts, and inventory targets.
• Monitor and communicate key metrics including forecast accuracy, inventory performance, OTD, and demand variance.
• Ensure demand data integrity and compliance with customer contractual requirements.
• Partner across functions to resolve constraints and make decisions that best support customer and business needs.
• Drive continuous improvement in forecasting methods, planning processes, and tools.

What You Will Do

What You Will Learn

• Complete weekly review of orders and forecast reconciliation
• Complete program reviews to align on variance, decisions, and key assumptions
• Lead the monthly Demand review covering variance from prior and other key inputs
• Demand planning with Kinaxis and ownership of demand parameters review bi-annually
• Support various SIOP Discussions including Financial Reconciliation, Supply Review (SP&Es), and Executive SIOPs
• Understand Customer Contract requirements pertaining to Demand Elements
• Review KPIs for trends and perform root cause corrective action as appropriate
• Management Authorized Material (MAM) Approval Process adherence as required
• Demand data maintenance (data integrity)
• Timely communication and documentation of assumptions and variances to the Program Management Team (PMT) to support the overall SIOP process

Qualifications

• You Must Have—Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Prior experience in Demand Planning and Forecasting.
• Travel as business needs dictate—could be up to 20%.

• Experience with Excel including Pivot tables and VLookUp.
• Experience leading and facilitating demand reviews.
• Demonstrated leadership in Demand Planning and Forecasting by effectively coordinating cross-functional efforts and driving alignment across all areas.
• Experience analyzing complex data sets to draw meaningful insights and support high-impact decision-making.
• Familiarity with SIOP cycle.
• Experience working cross functionally with Operations, supply chain, master scheduling, program office and finance.

Salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
