  • Scenario & Risk Analysis: Evaluate project economics across multiple operating, reimbursement, and volume scenarios for both acquisitions and de novo developments, challenging assumptions and highlighting potential risks to balance strategic and financial objectives.
  • Standardization: Maintain and optimize standardized financial modeling templates, valuation frameworks, and ramp assumptions for ongoing transaction evaluations and de novo site builds.
  • Due Diligence Support: Assist in managing multidisciplinary due diligence processes across financial, legal, operational, HR, and strategic workstreams for acquisitions, joint ventures, and de novo projects alongside internal stakeholders and external advisors.

  • Pipeline & Target Research: Track acquisition and de novo expansion pipelines, conduct initial market and target research, and maintain open-item logs and virtual data rooms during active transaction reviews.
  • Transaction Execution: Assist senior leadership with deal structuring schedules, financial schedule verification, and documentation gathering across acquisitions and strategic partnership opportunities.
  • Market & Referral Analysis: Partner with Division Operations and Sales teams to perform market assessments incorporating physician referral dynamics, competitive positioning, demographic trends, and payer access.
  • De Novo Site Prioritization: Develop volume capture models and ramp assumptions to help prioritize de novo expansion opportunities based on projected strategic and financial returns.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and service line demand to synthesize actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • Decision Materials: Draft investment memoranda, business cases, pipeline updates, and executive presentations for the Investment Committee, Board, and senior leadership.
  • Post-Close Performance Tracking: Monitor actual transaction and de novo performance against original investment thesis models, assisting with post-merger integration handoffs and milestone tracking.
  • Analytics & Dashboards: Maintain business development analytics and build dashboards to support executive decision-making.
Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–6 years of relevant experience in Corporate Development, Strategic Finance, Investment Banking, M&A, or Business Development.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated experience supporting healthcare transactions, financial evaluations, or de novo site development from analysis through close.
  • Advanced Financial Modeling: Advanced proficiency in Excel, 3-statement financial modeling, and valuation techniques (DCF, IRR, comps).
  • Healthcare Acumen: Solid understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, outpatient service models, and reimbursement dynamics preferred.
  • Project & Diligence Support: Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to track multiple workstreams and coordinate cross-functionally.
