Sony Pictures Entertainment seeks a Senior Analyst in the Content Strategy and Acquisitions team to support valuation efforts across Scripted TV, Non-Fiction, Game Show, Kids and International TV labels. The role partners with Sales, Production, Finance, Marketing, Legal and Operations to drive informed content decisions.
Responsibilities include updating valuation models, creating tools for tracking greenlight requests, and presenting analyses to product owners.
The Content Strategy and Acquisitions team within the Global TV distribution organization at Sony Pictures has an opening for a Senior Analyst. The team works closely with the various Production units to greenlight new TV Series and Films for the sales organization to distribute worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly analytical and detail-oriented candidate interested in content distribution.
The Senior Analyst will be responsible for assisting with valuation efforts across SPE's Scripted TV, Non-Fiction, Game Show, Kids and International TV labels. This is a key supporting role with a broad scope, touching on many aspects of the television business and is an integral part of a multi-billion-dollar global sales organization. The role requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to build trusting relationships among multiple business units including Sales, Production, Finance, Marketing, Legal, and Operations.
The anticipated base salary for this position is $85,000 to $100,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
