Job summary

The Carlyle Group is seeking a CLO Compliance Senior Analyst in New York City to oversee compliance and reporting across Carlyle's US CLO platform. The role collaborates with operations, fund management, and investment professionals to support the CLO business.

Responsibilities include monitoring CLO tests, reviewing investor reports, indentures, and coordinating with Portfolio Management, Trading, and Structuring teams. Strong discipline, teamwork, and communication are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
  • Concentration in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or related discipline preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor US Middle Market CLOs and compliance tests.
  • Review quarterly investor reports and waterfall calculations.
  • Review and interpret indentures and interact with PM, Trading, and Structuring teams.
  • Oversee vendor relationships including fund admin and trustees.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting as needed.

Position Summary

The CLO Compliance, Senior Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the compliance and reporting process across Carlyle's US CLO platform. The Senior Analyst will work closely with operations, fund management and investment professionals to support our industry leading CLO business.

Responsibilities
  • Actively monitor US Middle Market CLOs and Rated Note Fund Structure Compliance tests
  • Review of quarterly investor reports and waterfall calculations
  • Hypothetical Testing
  • Review and interpret indentures
  • Daily interaction with Portfolio Management, Trading, and Structuring teams
  • Oversight of vendor relationships, including fund administration and trustees
  • Ad-hoc reporting
Requirements
Education & Certificates
  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Concentration in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or related discipline preferred
Professional Experience
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of overall relevant experience, required
  • Experience in Financial Services with a focus on CLO's, preferred
  • Team player who fosters collaboration across teams to improve efficiency of the organization
  • Strong work ethic, willingness to keep learning, honesty and integrity, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail oriented self-starter and intellectually curious
  • Advanced Microsoft Office
Benefits/Compensation

The compensation range for this role is specific to New York City and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $130,000.

In addition to the base salary, the hired professional will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package spanning retirement benefits, health insurance, life insurance and disability, paid time off, paid holidays, family planning benefits and various wellness programs. Additionally, the hired professional may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary incentive program, the award of which will be dependent on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
