Job summary

BNY is seeking a Senior Specialist, Client Operations - CLO Reporting in Pittsburgh, PA. The role partners with Analytics, Operations, and Client Service to deliver accurate CLO reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

Expect interaction with Position Servicing, CSM, and clients to ensure quality and timely delivery. Responsibilities include running models, testing with clients, resolving basic issues, and incorporating feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5-7 years of total work experience preferred.
• Experience in quantitative finance and technology preferred.
• Experience in CLO, structured finance, or fixed-income reporting preferred.
• Analytical experience in financial modeling, valuation models, or data analytics.
• Proficiency in VBA/SQL valuable.
• No direct reports; provides guidance to junior analysts and ensures accuracy of own work and project team members.

Responsibilities

• Owns and runs portfolio compliance and waterfall models; delivers first draft to CSM.
• Agrees tests with clients and liaises on input/parameters affecting tests.
• Resolves basic modeling issues; significant changes involve Analytics team.
• Engages Position Services to resolve data issues identified.
• Acts as liaison between Position Servicing and CSM for coordination.
• Analyzes and incorporates client/auditor feedback on test results.

Overview

As part of BNY’s Corporate Trust business (Structured Debt Platform), the CLO Reporting Analyst Team delivers timely, accurate, and insightful reporting on Collateralized Loan Obligations for internal stakeholders and external investors. You will partner through Analytics, Operations, Client Service, and other stakeholders. The role supports BNY’s strategic pillars—Be More for our Clients, Run our Company Better, and Power our Culture—by ensuring transparent communication, operational excellence, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Owns and runs portfolio compliance and waterfall models and delivers quality 1st draft to CSM.
• Agrees tests with clients and liaises to agree on input/parameters impacting tests.
• Resolves basic modeling issues; significant changes involve Analytics team.
• Engages Position Services to resolve exceptional data issues identified.
• Acts as liaison between Position Servicing and CSM to ensure smooth communication and task coordination.
