Job summary

Oscar Health in New York City is seeking a Senior Analyst, Analytics Enablement to join our Data Team. This role focuses on administering and governing our BI platforms Looker and Data Studio Pro, ensuring reliability, access control, and scalable analytics.

You will report to the Data Manager II, work in a hybrid office, and contribute to developer velocity, AI-assisted reporting features, and data governance while complying with applicable laws.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in system administration, IT support, data operations, or a technical support role.
• 1+ years of experience working with SQL.
• 1+ year experience of AI‑assisted programming.

Responsibilities

• Platform Administration & Access Management: serve as the primary administrator for Looker and Data Studio Pro, managing access control and workspace permissions.
• Triage & Support: act as the point of contact for the BI platforms to resolve user issues and improve reliability.
• Platform Governance & Auditing: enforce data governance, maintain folder structures, and monitor usage to optimize performance.
• Developer & AI Enablement: support AI, Data Science and Analytics teams to improve velocity and configure AI-assisted features.

About the role

The Analytics Enablement Associate helps administer and govern our Business Intelligence (BI) platforms - Looker and Data Studio Pro (formerly Looker Studio Pro). This role is responsible for platform reliability and user access management while supporting initiatives, including developer velocity, self-service analytics, and the deployment of AI-assisted reporting features.

You will report into the Data Manager II.

Work Location

This position is based in our New York City office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in‑office work per week. Thursdays are a required in‑office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule. #LI‑Hybrid

Pay Transparency

The base pay for this role is $83,628 - $109,761.75 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Platform Administration & Access Management: Serve as the primary administrator for Looker and Data Studio Pro, managing access control, asset management and workspace permissions
• Triage & Support: Act as the point of contact for the platform to resolve user issues and system reliability
• Platform Governance & Auditing: Enforce data governance policies, maintain clean platform folder structures, collect metadata to improve data discoverability, and monitor platform usage to optimize system performance
• Developer & AI Enablement: Under the direction of the Data Management lead, support the AI, Data Science and Analytics teams in efforts to improve developer velocity and configure AI‑assisted features within BI platforms
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in system administration, IT support, data operations, or a technical support role
• 1+ years of experience working with SQL
• 1+ year experience of AI‑assisted programming

Bonus points

• Experience working specifically with Looker and Google Data Studio Pro to build reports and/or manage assets
• Experience exploring, testing, or leveraging emerging AI‑assisted features or predictive tools within business intelligence environments
• Experience being the point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving user‑facing issues to maintain system reliability
• Experience creating user guides, basic documentation, or quick‑reference materials to help non‑technical users navigate data platforms

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
