Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking a Senior Analyst, Accounting Systems to bridge finance, accounting, merchandising, and technology. You will translate growth initiatives into scalable accounting system requirements and ensure accurate financial reporting through the Oracle system.

You will partner with IT and cross-functional teams to implement system changes, maintain GL mappings, and drive end-to-end improvements in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Understanding of inventory and/or intercompany accounting, preferably within a retail environment.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Translate new business developments into scalable accounting system requirements and financial flows.
• Partner with IT to maintain Oracle merchandising system configuration and GL account mapping.
• Engage with finance SMEs early to assess impacts on accounting and reporting.
• Collaborate with technical teams to analyze, resolve issues, and validate fixes.
• Shape future-state design of accounting systems in an agile environment to deliver enhancements.

Job Description:As a Senior Analyst, Accounting Systems you will play a key role in enabling our strategic growth by connecting finance, accounting, merchandising, and technology. You will partner closely with IT and cross-functional business teams to ensure our Oracle merchandising system, configurations, and accounting flows evolve with new business developments, selling channels, and operating models.
