Job summary

Montage Technology, Inc. in Johns Creek, GA seeks an experienced analog/mixed-signal IC designer to lead PMIC product development and coordinate full-chip integration.

You will contribute to several silicon tapeout cycles from spec to mass production, plan floor-planning, and collaborate with verification, CAD, and methodology teams. A BS EE is required; MS/PhD preferred. Proficiency with Spectre, Cadence, Verilog-AMS, Linux, and SVN is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Experience.
• BSEE required; MSEE/PhD preferred.
• Experience contributing to several silicon tapeout cycles from spec to mass production.
• CMOS/BiCMOS process design experience is required.
• Experience with small geometry BCD processes is a plus.
• Strong understanding of switching regulators, integrated power MOSFETs and drivers, LDOs, precision amplifiers, oscillators, bandgap references, ADCs, DACs, high-speed comparators.
• Proficient with Spectre and other analog simulators.
• Experience with Cadence schematic capture.
• Experience with Linux; revision control tools such as SOS or SVN.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; good communication and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to PMIC product development in a cross functional team.
• Full custom analog design of blocks such as PLLs, oscillators, bandgap references, LDOs, Buck/Boost, voltage regulators.
• Provide feasibility studies for size/performance/schedule.
• Plan and coordinate with verification to develop models and ensure validation coverage.
• Provide floor-planning and support integration of digital & analog circuits at the full-chip level.
• Interact with methodology and CAD groups; coordinate with stakeholders to identify needs and improvements.
