In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Collaborate with the team to understand customer needs.
  • Develop hardware products through all phases of the new product introduction process.
  • Work closely with application and embedded software developers to verify system functionality.
  • Stay updated with technology trends in design, manufacturing, and electronic components for new products.
  • Ensure designs meet functionality and certification requirements through test procedures.
  • Collaborate with global supply chain and manufacturing teams to ensure cost-effectiveness and manufacturability.
  • Support existing and new hardware products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Communicate project status effectively to your team.

Who You Are:

You experiment with a wide range of existing industrial-grade technologies and apply new options to enhance organizational outcomes. You remain energized and effective when faced with ambiguity and uncertainty. You facilitate open dialogue with diverse contributors and stakeholders, encouraging diverse ideas and opinions.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar.
  • 5 years of experience in analog circuit design and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in analog circuit design.
  • Hands-on experience with circuit design, analysis, IDEs, and CAD tools.
  • Experience with EMC compliance testing.
  • Familiarity with lab instruments like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
  • Proficiency with soldering and fine hand-tools for PCB and electronic equipment testing.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%, including internationally.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • 8+ years in analog circuit design and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with firmware development for board bring-up.
  • Experience with product certifications (UL, CSA, IEC, FM, ATEX, OIML, MIL).
  • Experience performing FMEA.
  • Familiarity with process automation.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes like RoHS and IPC standards.
  • Experience with battery technologies and low power design.
  • Experience designing FPGA-based solutions.
  • Familiarity with PLC, SCADA, DCS, and flow computers.
