Astera Labs in San Jose, CA, is seeking a Principal Engineering Program Manager for the AMS team to drive the execution of complex silicon programs. You will orchestrate cross‑functional teams spanning circuit design, layout, verification, and silicon validation to deliver high‑performance AMS IP on schedule, on budget, and to spec.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of program or project management in semiconductor, IC, or hardware.
• Experience managing complex silicon or AMS/IP programs through tape-out.
• Understanding of the ASIC/IC development lifecycle (design, verification, layout, bring-up).
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain end-to-end AMS IP development schedules.
• Manage critical path, milestones, and dependencies across teams.
• Establish metrics, budgets, and deliverables for high-quality outcomes.
• Lead program reviews and communicate status and risks to leadership.
• Coordinate with partners, foundries, and vendors on tape-out readiness.
