Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader II to ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of ammonia refrigeration and steam systems in our manufacturing and warehouse facilities. You will lead daily operation, maintenance, repair and regulatory compliance efforts.

The role requires extensive field experience with boilers, chillers, and controls, plus strong leadership to train and motivate technicians and foremen. Travel and rotating schedules may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Experience as a high-level technician plus 3+ years of experience as a foreman - Preferred.
• 5+ years Field experience in mechanical system operations, repair and maintenance with boilers, chillers, and controls, plumbing, and electrical - Required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety, reliability, and efficiency of ammonia refrigeration and steam systems.
• Leads daily operation, maintenance, repair and regulatory compliance activities.
• Collaborates with customers, engineers, and contractors on new facilities; helps set standard specs.
• Administers the Process Safety Management program for assigned facilities.
• Stays current on technologies and regulatory requirements.
