TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC is seeking a Senior AML Compliance Counsel to join our Legal and Compliance team in Washington, DC. You will lead the AML/CTF program, advise on global regulations, and partner with payments, product, security, privacy, and audit teams to implement monitoring solutions.

Ideal candidates hold a J.D. from an ABA-accredited school, with in-house experience in multinational settings and a track record in sanctions and anti-money laundering.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school and licensed to practice in the U.S.
• Proven in-house legal and compliance experience with a multinational company; knowledge of sanctions, AML, Bank Secrecy Act, and related regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills and judgment with ability to advise business on regulatory impact.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and influence a culture of compliance across the organization and support AML/CTF program.
• Advise on global AML and sanctions laws; drive compliant initiatives and programs.
• Collaborate with payments, tech & product, security & privacy, internal audit, and business units to implement and monitor suspicious activity monitoring and reporting.
• Counsel global government relations teams on impending regulatory changes in AML/sanctions areas.
• Maintain and improve AML/CTF policies and procedures.
• Conduct internal compliance training for key stakeholders.
