Job summary

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on AML investigation experience including SARs filed with FinCEN.
• Strong working knowledge of BSA, SAR filing requirements and AML regulations.
• Ability to analyze transaction activity across multiple payment rails and draw defensible conclusions.
• Clear written SAR narratives that are accurate and well organized.

Responsibilities

• Investigate escalated cases from transaction monitoring, fraud referrals, market surveillance and sanctions screening for money laundering, fraud and sanctions evasion.
• Analyze funding, withdrawal, and trading activity across cards, ACH, and stablecoins to build a clear customer activity picture.
• Prepare detailed SARs that meet regulatory requirements and document decisions when SARs aren’t needed.
• Review customer identity and profile information to assess consistency with background and stated purpose.
• Support law enforcement requests, subpoenas and 314(a) reviews.
• Perform quality control on analyst work and provide actionable feedback.
• Develop training materials to raise the team’s output quality.
