Job summary

SumUp is seeking an AML Operations Investigator to join our Vilnius office. You will review PEP, sanctions and UBO cases, escalate complex matters, and support KYC monitoring with cross-functional teams.

You’ll work with Excel and Tableau, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to process improvements. This office-based role offers a competitive salary of €2,250–€2,580 gross per month and a global, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Experience handling PEP and sanctions escalations and transaction screening.
• Strong knowledge of AML regulations and risk frameworks.
• Ability to analyse large volumes of data and investigate complex cases with accuracy.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Review and investigate PEP and sanctions alerts, preparing reports for senior management approval.
• Act as second-level escalation point for complex PEP and sanctions cases.
• Review UBO queries and conduct profile reviews, advising on KYC matters.
• Assess transaction monitoring alerts for payments.
• Research and document findings to confirm or dismiss suspicions with stakeholders.
• Identify and implement improvements to KYC processes.
