Job summary

SumUp is seeking an Anti-Fraud Analyst to monitor transactions and merchant activity, review fraud notifications, and investigate cases using fraud prevention techniques. You will liaise with internal teams and external partners while staying current with AML standards.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, data manipulation skills, and time management in a fast-moving payments environment, based in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Our Risk & Fraud team sits at the heart of keeping SumUp safe for millions of small businesses, spotting suspicious transactions and stopping fraud before it causes real harm. As a Risk and Anti-Fraud Analyst, you'll monitor transactions and merchant activity, follow up on fraud notifications from acquirers, and help protect both our customers and SumUp from financial and reputational loss. You'll get hands on experience with the tools, patterns, and techniques used to catch fraud in a fast moving payments environment, building a skillset that's genuinely in demand and setting you up for a long term career in fraud prevention.

What you'll do:
