Job summary

Fontainebleau Las Vegas is seeking an Assistant Manager of AML Compliance to support the AML Compliance Team and guide Specialists in daily objectives. The role collaborates with SMEs to design high-quality auditing tools and practices aligned with regulatory objectives and business needs.

The position involves overseeing complex audits, ensuring compliance with BSA/AML and OFAC, and mentoring staff to complete daily duties accurately and timely.

Qualifications

• Four years of AML Compliance experience in a large-scale luxury resort/casino or financial institution.
• Two years of supervisory/management experience in a similar setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and regulatory risks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with oversight and performance of complex audits and identify patterns using Excel and BI tools.
• Ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act/AML requirements and applicable laws.
• Plan and execute AML audits within the casino's risk tolerance.
• Audit finance, risk management, operations, and gaming activities.
• Supervise and remediate actions by Compliance Specialists for timely tasks.
• Follow up on remediation activities to ensure control issues are resolved.
• Stay updated on laws impacting financial institutions and AML frameworks.
• Report audit findings and recommend improvements to operations.
• Escalate unusual activity to Compliance Investigators when needed.
• Respond to daily inquiries from peers and management about audits.
