Beacon Bank is recruiting for an AML/CFT Officer to join the Financial Intelligence Unit. The role focuses on investigating transaction monitoring alerts, performing due diligence, and preparing SARs/CTRs in alignment with BSA/AML regulations and OFAC sanctions guidelines.

The ideal candidate has CAMS/CGSS credentials, at least 3 years in a regulated financial setting, and strong analytical, research, and communication skills. Hybrid work arrangements are available within MA/CT/NY/VT/RI.

Qualificações

• Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or CGSS or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in BSA/AML or equivalent role in a financial institution.

Responsabilidades

• Analyzes monitoring alerts and referrals related to money laundering and terrorist financing.
• Prepares notes and documentation to support research conclusions.
• Prepares and presents investigative case summaries to the SAR Committee as needed.
• Performs due diligence and enhanced due diligence on new and existing customers.
• Researches complex relationships to assess money‑laundering risks and customer suitability.
• Maintains FIU systems data accuracy (risk factors, questionnaires).
• Files SARs and CTRs within required regulatory time frames.
• Supports business lines on BSA/AML matters and regulatory requirements.
