Job summary

Financial Edge in Puerto Rico is seeking a Compliance Manager to support the Chief Compliance Officer in BSA/AML and OFAC programs for PPLI, PPVA, and IFE operations. You will supervise staff, implement risk-based controls, and guide governance and regulatory reporting.

The role requires experience with high-net-worth clients, complex ownership, and cross-border relationships, with leadership responsibilities across policy, risk assessments, and investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 10+ years AML/BSA, OFAC, or financial crimes experience.
• Experience managing compliance programs.
• Experience leading compliance teams through coaching and performance management.
• Experience with HNW/UHNW clients and complex ownership structures.
• J.D. preferred; attorney licensed in a U.S. jurisdiction preferred.
• ACAMS, CPAML, or CRCM certification preferred.
• Experience with PPLI, PPVA, insurers, private banks, trusts, or PR I FE s.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day BSA/AML, OFAC, and financial crimes compliance activities.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
• Lead periodic BSA/AML, OFAC, and country risk assessments.
• Prepare reports for executive management and compliance committees.
• Coordinate examinations, independent testing engagements, and audits.
• Provide compliance guidance to underwriting, operations, finance, and leadership.
• Directly supervise Senior Compliance Associates and Compliance Associates.
