Job summary

OliBank is seeking a dedicated BSA/AML Officer to lead a risk-based compliance program for an MSB operating in Puerto Rico. You will own SAR determinations, 314(a) handling, and sanctions screening governance, while reporting directly to the Board on health and trends.

Requirements include 3+ years in regulated financial compliance, Puerto Rico IFE/OCIF experience, strong written and verbal skills in English, and Spanish as a strong plus. Position is onsite in Puerto Rico with competitive salary.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in BSA/AML compliance within a regulated financial institution.
• Direct experience with Puerto Rico IFE / OCIF examination cycle.
• Hands-on SAR lifecycle: investigation, memos, filing clocks, ongoing activity.
• Knowledge of BSA recordkeeping and MSB obligations (CIP/KYC).
• Experience with transaction monitoring and audit of alert dispositions.
• Strong written and Board-level communication skills.
• Fluency in English; Spanish a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the risk-based BSA/AML compliance program across MSB and bank programs.
• Serve as designated BSA Officer with SAR determinations and 314(a) handling.
• Report to the Board on program health, trends, and deficiencies.
• Govern sanctions screening and ownership handling of OFAC rules and screening outages.
• Oversee onboarding, EDD triggers, and activity for compliance risk.
• Audit processes, KYB artifacts, monitoring alerts, and residual risk.
• Own vendor and counterparty compliance touchpoints and sign-offs.
