Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or related)
• Master’s Degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
• 1+ years of experience in Statistical model building
• 1+ years of experience in market research
• 1+ years of experience in SQL querying
• 2+ years of experience in business analysis
• 1+ years of experience in consulting

Responsibilities

• Analyze macroeconomic trends driving AML investigation volumes
• Combine understanding of potential criminal practices with products to define criteria for identifying suspicious transactions
• Optimize investigative process through operational risk management and investigator productivity
• Analyze Capital One Financial businesses contributions to AML investigations and AML expenses
• Develop business KPIs and KRIs for the AML program
• Identify business challenges and provide strategic recommendations through analysis
• Model analytics to inform new product and pricing strategies for lending products
• Support direct-to-consumer marketing efforts and cross-channel customer experiences
• Support credit risk improvements by linking drivers of future consumer credit trends to historical behavior
• Lead execution from hypothesis through solution deployment and monitoring
• Collaborate with IT, Sales, Operations, Finance and others to drive quality, volume, service and profitability
• Demonstrate strategic and analytical thinking with strong quantitative orientation
• Display strong business judgment, leadership and integrity
• Communicate effectively and influence stakeholders to reach agreement
• Driven to achieve short- and long-term goals in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in consulting is a plus
