Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced Principal Additive Manufacturing Project Manager to lead large-scale additive manufacturing programs from quotation through production launch. You will drive cross-functional execution across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and business teams, delivering on scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives.

Successful candidates will have a STEM degree with 8+ years of experience (5+ with advanced degrees), proven ability to manage complex projects using EVMS, and

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 8+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive project execution in advanced manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex additive manufacturing projects from quotation through production introduction.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, operations, and administration.
• Align technology development with TRL objectives and customer requirements.
• Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Create engineering estimates, proposals, and execution roadmaps highlighting dependencies and critical paths.
• Monitor schedule and budget using Earned Value management methods.
