Reynolds Consumer Products in Malvern, AK is seeking a Senior Metallurgical Engineer for Aluminum Casting & Rolling at our Manufacturing Facility. Relocation assistance is available to support the right candidate.

Responsibilities include leading metallurgical initiatives, developing new alloys, optimizing casting/rolling/annealing, and ensuring quality standards across the operation. Travel may be required to support global facilities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science.
• 8+ years of related, progressively responsible experience in foil casting and rolling.
• MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• Continuous casting experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide metallurgical expertise across foil manufacturing operations and partner with quality and plant teams to improve metal quality, alloy performance, casting, rolling, annealing, scrap utilization, process capability, and product consistency.
• Develop and maintain technical standards; lead trials and process improvements; resolve material and downstream rolling issues to support safe, efficient production.
• Lead development of new alloys and the associated casting, rolling, and annealing practices to achieve desired end-product properties.
• Develop scrap-blending practices and improve Process Management techniques; maintain records of foil trials and alloy specs.
• Ensure SQF and GMP practices in applicable locations to support safe food-packaging products.
