Job summary

J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management seeks a Senior Alternative Investment Specialist who will join the Global Alternative Investment Solutions team in a Managing Director role. You will work with Investment Advisors and Bankers in the U.S.

to launch and manage ongoing opportunities in alternatives. Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in investment sales, solid knowledge of hedge funds, private equity, real estate and other alternatives, plus Series 7/63 credentials.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in investment sales and related fields.
• Experience with private investments and hedge funds preferred.
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 required (may be obtained after start).
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to convey knowledge to managers, clients and investors.
• Knowledge of alternative investments including hedge funds, private equity and real estate.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with Investment Advisors and Bankers in the U.S. on new product launches and ongoing opportunities.
• Representing and articulating views of the Global Alternative Investment Solutions teams at key meetings.
• Analyzing client multi-asset class portfolios and advising on alternative investments with Advisors.
• Articulating manager selection process and how the platform fits within Private Bank strategy.
• Participating in Global Alternative Investment Solutions meetings, demonstrating leadership.
• Fostering and mentoring junior talent within the group.
