The role includes leading technical governance, mentoring engineers, evaluating new technologies, and coordinating technology collaboration initiatives to optimize reliability, energy use, and profitability in a demanding refinery environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 15+ years refining experience required.
• 10+ years supporting alkylation technology preferred.
• Proficiency with HYSYS and process modeling software required.
• Strong knowledge of HF and sulfuric acid alkylation chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for HF and sulfuric acid alkylation technology across refining assets.
• Develop and monitor performance indicators and health dashboards.
• Lead process safety standards and risk management for alkylation.
• Provide technical consulting on unit performance and optimization.
• Lead technology health assessments and annual reviews.
• Mentor refinery engineers and operations leaders.
