Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking an experienced electronic trading technical lead to advance its delta1 algo trading systems. You will build, deploy and support trading strategies, analytical tools, and scalable trading engine infrastructure as part of a fast-moving IT/quant/trading team.

The role requires strong communication skills for an agile, front-office environment and leadership across North America and globally.

Qualifications

• Expert-level Java in UNIX/Linux environments.
• Experience in front-office trading and with quantitative traders.
• Background in algo trading or automated market making in liquid markets.
• Familiarity with low-latency pub/sub messaging middleware.
• Electronic trading knowledge including cash/ETF/futures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow global teams across North America and beyond.
• Build and enhance trading strategies and engines using core Java.
• Collaborate with global trading, quant and IT teams to advance platform delivery.
• Oversee full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
