Job summary

Fluent Trade Technologies Limited seeks a Senior Algorithm Engineer (Quant Developer) to design, implement, and validate trading algorithms end-to-end for clients. The ideal candidate has bank desk or hedge fund background and understands production-grade execution and pricing systems.

Responsibilities include building robust FX-focused algos, validating with backtesting, and coordinating with QA to ensure robustness in volatile markets.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a quant developer or algo engineer at an investment bank, hedge fund, prop trading or market-making firm.
• Hands-on experience building and running bank or fund trading algorithms in production
• Strong understanding of FX and market microstructure
• Solid knowledge of market mechanics and order lifecycle
• Expert programming in C++ - advantage
• Proven experience in backtesting, simulation and statistical validation of algorithm results
• Experience defining test strategy and working with QA on trading systems
• B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or similar
• Fluent English
• Based in Europe

Responsibilities
