Constellation Energy seeks an experienced Radiation Protection ALARA Specialist (or Sr. RP ALARA Specialist) to lead the ALARA program at a nuclear facility.

You will drive exposure reduction strategies, outage planning, shielding evaluations, and technology implementations to minimize dose and improve safety. The role requires Bachelor’s or higher in health physics or related science, SRO license or equivalent, and extensive experience in radiation protection.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in health physics or related science with 1 year of experience
• SRO license with 5 years of related experience
• Associate’s degree with 3 years of related experience
• High school diploma with ANSI 3.1 RP Technician qualifications or 5 years related experience
• Maintain minimum access/unescorted access requirements and pass medical exam as applicable

Responsabilidades

• Lead ALARA planning, estimating, and procedures per Constellation guidance
• Conduct assessments, corrective actions, benchmarking, and job evaluations for ALARA
• Perform outage planning, modification team leadership, or other RP ALARA duties
• Mentor RP personnel and site staff to transfer knowledge
• Incorporate fleet fundamentals and coach station personnel for continuous improvement
• Develop and deliver clear oral and written communications for all audiences
