Constellation Energy is seeking a Radiation Protection (RP) ALARA Specialist to lead the ALARA program, covering planning, shielding, outage coordination and CRE reduction. A Sr RP ALARA Specialist level is also possible with broader responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health physics or related science with 1 year of related experience OR
• Associate's degree with 3 years of related experience OR
• High school diploma/GED with qualifications for ANSI 3.1 RP Technician OR 5 years of related experience

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement ALARA planning, estimating and procedure implementation per Constellation guidance to reduce exposure.
• Perform assessments, corrective actions, benchmarking and job evaluations related to ALARA processes.
• Lead outage planning, modification team oversight, online planning or other duties integral to the RP ALARA program.
• Mentor RP personnel and site staff to transfer knowledge and uphold standards.
• Incorporate fleet fundamentals into work evolutions and coach staff for continual improvement.
• Develop and deliver oral and written communications for all audiences.
