Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. seeks a Senior Service Product Specialist to act as the technical authority for AIS and GIS service products across an assigned region.

You will support field operations, engineering, sales and customers by delivering advanced technical expertise through the equipment lifecycle, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and modernization. The role is hybrid with a minimum two days per week in the office and up to 50% domestic travel to meet with customers, sites, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and related technical discipline.
• Eight or more years of experience in high-voltage products, field service, engineering, or technical support.
• Technical knowledge of AIS, GIS, circuit breakers, and HV substations; ability to read drawings and specs.
• Excellent communication, presentation skills; travel up to 50% domestically; MS Office proficiency; SAP/Salesforce/Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority for AIS and GIS service products and solutions.
• Provide advanced technical support to field service, operations, and customers.
• Lead root-cause analyses and corrective actions for complex service issues.
• Support regional field teams in planning service projects and outages.
• Develop training materials and guidance for field execution and service sales.
