Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Senior Project Manager for its Airports team in Oklahoma City to lead large, complex airport design projects and drive successful outcomes for clients and the firm.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk, while mentoring staff and applying best practices to deliver high-quality designs that meet client expectations. Olsson values collaboration, ownership, and positive community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering preferred; in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an associate degree with equivalent experience is required.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the consulting industry and 10 years of experience in project management managing airport design projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering business consulting.
• Excellent client service orientation, communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
• Solid interpersonal and decision‑making skills; ability to generate innovative and effective solutions to complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of large and complex airport design projects across the firm.
• Ensures project quality to client and firm standards through best practices, processes, and tools; conducts regular reviews and audits.
• Communicates project status and updates to all stakeholders and aligns goals and timelines.
• Manages project resources, including staffing, budgeting, and procurement, for efficient outcomes.
• Monitors project performance, milestones, and deliverables using PM technologies and best practices.
• Identifies and mitigates project risks; develops contingency plans and manages issues proactively.
• Solicits feedback from clients to ensure high satisfaction and service level improvement.
