Job summary

Ricondo is seeking a Senior Consultant - Airport Planner for our Orlando office. You will work with a diverse aviation team to address challenges in airport infrastructure project development and implementation while expanding your expertise across national and international airport projects.

Ideal candidates will possess 3–5 years in airport planning, strong AutoCAD and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and in teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a field providing a foundation for aviation consulting (e.g., Civil Engineering, Aviation Management, Urban Planning).
• 3–5 years of increasingly responsible experience in airport planning or related field.
• Proficiency in spatial/graphical analysis applications (AutoCAD).
• Familiarity with FAA Advisory Circulars, Engineering Briefs, and other industry planning guides.
• Excellent analytical skills and strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys and data collection for airport planning studies.
• Consult with staff on data interpretation and presentation for planning studies.
• Prepare draft sections of reports and deliverables.
• Develop, format, publish, and distribute tables, charts, manuals, and maps.
• Provide technical recommendations on airport planning studies.
• Develop and maintain electronic data sets and analysis tools.
• Respond to data requests from internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor entry-level staff in using software and tools.
• Perform related work as required.
