Job summary

Ricondo & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Simulation Consultant to join our aviation consulting team in our Denver office. You will collaborate with professionals across disciplines on airport planning projects and develop skills in on-the-job training for operational simulation modeling software.

The role emphasizes analytical prowess, data collection and analysis, and preparation of reports and deliverables, with opportunities to support global projects and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a field supporting aviation consulting (Engineering, Aviation Management, Mathematics, Statistics).
• Familiarity with analytical techniques and Excel.
• Experience with programming languages (e.g., Visual Basic, C++, Python).
• 0–3 years in airport planning or related field.
• Desire to learn aviation industry and strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel to support global projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with staff on research data for airport planning studies.
• Learn and run operational simulation modeling software (on the job training).
• Collect and analyze data for airport planning studies.
• Prepare draft sections of reports and deliverables.
• Assist in developing, formatting, publishing, and distributing tables, charts, manuals, and maps.
• Develop and maintain electronic datasets and file structures.
• Respond to data requests from internal staff and external clients.
