Ricondo & Associates, Inc. (R&A) in Orlando seeks a Senior Consultant - Airport Planner to join a team of aviation consultants. You will work independently and with Florida-based and national teams on airport infrastructure projects, with opportunities to expand expertise across diverse aviation initiatives.

No two airports are the same; you will solve complex planning challenges, contribute to master planning, environmental reviews, and advisory services while mentoring peers and junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Aviation Management, Urban Planning or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in airport planning or related field.
• Proficiency in spatial/graphical analysis apps (AutoCAD).
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with FAA guidance and airport industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys and data collection for airport planning studies.
• Collaborate with staff to interpret and present research data.
• Prepare draft sections of reports and deliverables.
• Develop tables, charts, manuals, and maps for planning studies.
• Provide technical recommendations on airport planning studies.
• Maintain data sets and troubleshoot analysis tools.
• Respond to data requests from staff, clients and agencies.
• Lead entry-level staff to use software and tools for analyses.
• Perform related work as required.
