Job summary

City of Dallas is seeking a Senior Airport Communications Specialist for Dallas Love Field. You will coordinate between airport users, document critical information, and send notifications to ensure safety, compliance, and high customer service.

The role leads ACS staff on shift, guides projects, and trains new team members in a fast-paced environment within the Aviation Public Safety Group.

Qualifications

Four (4) years of experience in airport communications or aviation operations.
Bachelor’s degree can meet minimum qualifications; equivalencies considered.
Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

Acts as liaison between airport and stakeholders, providing information and handling inquiries.
Coordinates incidents and requests across Aviation staff and events.
Maintains records of communications and ensures timely documentation.
Operates communications tech and PA systems for timely messaging.
Inputs work orders and ensures accurate data entry for timely completion.
Responds to alerts and emergencies, notifying agencies and coordinating sharing of information.
Mentors and supports ACS on shift; leads projects and delegates tasks.
Trains new ACC staff and performs other duties as assigned.
