Job summary

Lennar aviation division is seeking an experienced Captain to oversee flight operations, from pre-flight to post-flight, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and company policies. You will manage the aircraft, flight crew, and safety standards across international routes.

Responsibilities include planning, risk assessment, and post-flight documentation, with demanding schedules and on-call duties. A robust leadership and safety focus is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid FAA Airline Transport Captain (ATP) Certificate (or equivalent in other jurisdictions).
• Valid First-Class Medical Certificate.
• A minimum of 12 years of flight experience as a Captain, with a significant portion in multi-engine land aircraft.
• Experience in conducting international and cross-country flights is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for the safety and operation of the aircraft during all phases of flight.
• Flight Safety: monitor weather, flight plans, and risks; take corrective action as needed.
• Crew Leadership: direct the flight crew and ensure clear communication.
• Flight Planning: review routes, weather, and alternate plans before departure.
• Passenger and Cargo Safety: oversee loading/unloading and safety measures.
• Post-Flight: complete logs, reports, and evaluations and coordinate with ground ops.
