Jacobs is seeking a Sr. Airfield Civil Engineer & Design Manager to lead aviation design efforts from concept through construction on large-scale airfield projects.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate with stakeholders, and deliver compliant, quality designs for runways, taxiways, aprons, and related facilities. The role requires a PE in TX or eligibility by reciprocity, a strong background in aviation design, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a PE license in TX or eligibility for reciprocity.
• Demonstrated experience leading aviation design and construction projects and teams.
• Knowledge of FAA aviation regulations and airside/landside design expectations.

Responsabilités

• Lead design efforts across all project stages and mentor junior engineers.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to align design with objectives.
• Prepare complete design submittals complying with project requirements.
• Lead design presentations to clients and stakeholders with the team support.
• Provide peer review feedback on submittals and regulatory compliance.
• Guide design teams through competing interests to optimize outcomes.
• Conduct on-site inspections to verify construction conformance.
• Independently lead multiple concurrent designs without daily oversight.
