Job summary
Jacobs is seeking an Aviation Electrical Engineer to join our aviation team. The role focuses on planning, designing, and reviewing airfield lighting, navigational aids, and electrical infrastructure for large-scale aviation projects.
Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in aviation electrical engineering, proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D, and a PE license. The position offers hybrid work with salary in a competitive range and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
- Five+ years of aviation electrical engineering experience including airfield lighting and navigational aids.
- Licensed Professional Engineer.
- Experience with FAA ACs and UFC criteria; knowledge of design reports and specs.
Responsibilities
- Participate in planning, design, and construction of airfield lighting and navigational aids.
- Perform electrical design tasks supporting project managers and design teams.
- Prepare bidding documents (plans & specifications), lighting layout, power distribution, and controls.
- Provide on-site construction observation and project engineering support.
