Job summary

Applied Research Solutions seeks a Structures Engineer to provide specialized support for Air Force aircraft structural systems throughout their lifecycle. You will ensure structural integrity, airworthiness, and systems engineering expertise for military aircraft programs, coordinating with DoD processes while maintaining required clearances.

The role requires an active Secret clearance and a bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program, with knowledge of MIL-STD standards

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen with an active Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Knowledge of MIL-STD-1530, JSSG-2006, MIL-STD-1568, MIL-HDBK-516 requirements.
• Understanding of durability, damage tolerance, aircraft loads, materials processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, procure, sustain, and modify aircraft structures systems and components.
• Provide systems engineering expertise in structures design, integration, and quality.
• Develop and maintain SE documentation including specifications, system requirements, SEPs.
• Execute AFPD 62-6 USAF Airworthiness requirements through standardized processes.
