Job summary

Oliver Wyman Vector in the United States is seeking an experienced Lead Aircraft Technical Specialist. This advanced role combines deep industry expertise with workstream leadership, process ownership, quality assurance and client engagement across aviation programs.

The successful candidate will mentor staff, lead defined workstreams, review deliverables, and maintain strict attention to accuracy and confidentiality. Travel nationally and internationally is expected.

Qualifications

10+ years in aircraft records or as an aircraft technical representative.
Comprehensive understanding of regulations concerning aircraft, engines, and appliances.
Experience with Part 121 carrier environments is preferred.
Ability to teach and mentor others in technical skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data handling.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and execution of technical analyses performed by junior team members.
Interpret, audit, and verify Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and methods of compliance.
Determine applicability of Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
Verify time since new and time used on life-limited parts and components.
Research and resolve aircraft-records issues and escalate when necessary.
Maintain client confidentiality and high accuracy in documentation.
