Job summary

Worldwide Aircraft Services, Inc. seeks a Production Manager to oversee daily direction of the production department in our maintenance facility.

Working with Shop Manager and technical leadership, you will mentor technicians and optimize production processes to meet customer requirements and schedules. Responsibilities include scheduling, coordinating with suppliers and customers, ensuring adherence to CFRs, training needs, and approving hours and turnover.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Airframe and Powerplant certification required.
• Minimum five years of diversified aircraft and engine maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of aircraft components and hardware.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the production department under the Shop Manager.
• Manage contract and direct hire technicians and in-work aircraft.
• Review work scopes, coordinate parts through Purchasing.
• Plan maintenance activities to minimize downtime and balance workload.
• Schedule aircraft/components for maintenance with customers and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with CFRs and customer policies.
• Approve timecards and overtime; provide turnover and communication between shifts.
