Job summary

Worldwide Aircraft Services is seeking a Production Manager to provide daily direction to the production department, coordinating with the Shop Manager, Manager of Technical Services, and Chief Inspector to optimize maintenance activity. A deep knowledge of the company policies, procedures and CFRs is required to lead the team and mentor technicians.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Airframe and Powerplant Certification required.
  • Minimum five years of diversified aircraft maintenance experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of aircraft hardware and components.

Responsibilities

  • Lead production staff and report to Shop Manager.
  • Plan maintenance activities to minimize downtime and balance workload.
  • Review work scopes and ensure parts procurement through purchasing.
  • Coordinate with CI and GM on ADs and engineering changes.
  • Prepare and issue work documents for maintenance on aircraft/components.
  • Ensure compliance with customer policies, procedures and CFRs.
  • Provide training recommendations for maintenance personnel.
  • Approve timecards and overtime for the production team.
  • Ensure proper shift turnover when multiple teams work on a project.
