Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah, GA seeks a Performance Technical Specialist III to own and advance aircraft performance across current fleets and new products. You will translate requirements into targets, develop models, and certify performance data for flight manuals and avionics software.

Lead technical efforts, mentor junior engineers, liaise with FAA/EASA, and support product development and fleet sustainment with innovative methods and tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or higher in mechanical or aeronautical engineering with extensive aircraft performance experience.
Experience across conceptual to post-certification design, flight-testing, and certification roadmaps.
Proficiency with Fortran, MATLAB, Unix/Linux, and related engineering tools.

Responsibilities

Own all aspects of aircraft performance for current fleet and new product development.
Translate requirements into design targets and develop tracking parameters.
Create performance models for testing, data reduction, and certification documents.
Coordinate with FAA/EASA on performance regulations and compliance.
Lead technical direction and mentor younger engineers.
