Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation seeks a Performance Technical Specialist III to own aircraft performance for the current fleet and future programs. You will translate requirements into design targets, develop tracking metrics, and build models to guide testing, data reduction, and certification.

You will lead performance analyses across all flight phases, coordinate with FAA/EASA for compliance, and mentor junior engineers while supporting sales with performance data and competitor insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aeronautical engineering is required plus 13 years of related experience.
• Experience with aircraft performance methods for flight-test and simulation.
• Certification and regulatory engagement with FAA/EASA/other authorities.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for all aspects of aircraft performance for current fleet and new products.
• Translate requirements into design targets and develop tracking parameters for decision making.
• Create performance models to optimize test procedures and certification documents.
• Analyze performance in all flight phases and conduct mission analyses.
• Coordinate with aviation authorities on performance regulations and cert plans.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor younger engineers; respond to customer inquiries.
