Job summary

Gulfstream, a unit of General Dynamics, seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Technician IV A&P for its Brunswick, GA site. You will perform maintenance, repair, and modification of key aircraft components, focusing on avionics, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure proper operation and FAA-compliant documentation.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, 6 years of aviation maintenance experience, an FAA A&P license, and a valid driver's license.

6 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical).
A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license required.
Valid Drivers License required.

Responsibilities

Perform required maintenance and servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems.
Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot mechanical and functional components of the aircraft including airframes, engines, landing gear, electrical components, and control systems.
Coordinate with inspection to ensure compliance with FAA inspection and documentation requirements.
Complete work orders, shift turnovers, and other paperwork in a timely manner.
Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
Identify and tag customer property; store components securely.
Follow SOPs and JSAs when operating ground support equipment.
Coordinate with other departments for overhaul or repair of customer property.
