Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Wisconsin seeks a skilled aircraft maintenance technician to perform repair, modification, and troubleshooting of aviation systems. The role requires a valid A&P license and at least six years of hands-on maintenance experience on aircraft families.

You will work under FAA rules, ensure quality and safety standards, and coordinate with inspections and other departments to schedule overhauls and repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• A&P (FAA) license required.
• Must have 6 years aviation maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and modification of aircraft systems to ensure safe operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair avionics, electrical, and mechanical components as needed.
• Coordinate with inspection to ensure FAA compliance and documentation.
• Complete work sign-offs, handoffs, and paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards and procedures.
• Identify and tag customer property; handle components securely.
• Operate ground support equipment following SOPs and JSAs.
• Coordinate with other departments for overhaul or repair as required.
