Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah, GA is seeking an AMT IV with A&P certification to perform maintenance and repair on sophisticated business jet systems. You will handle electrical, avionics, and mechanical tasks, ensuring compliance with FAA standards and internal processes.

With a minimum of six years of experience and a valid driver’s license, you’ll support inspections, sign-offs, and documentation while maintaining high safety and quality standards in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical and/or mechanical).
• A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform required maintenance and necessary servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems.
• Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot mechanical and functional components of the aircraft including airframes, engine components, landing gear, electrical components, and control systems.
• Coordinate with inspection to ensure FAA and internal documentation compliance.
• Complete work orders, sign-offs, and shift turnovers in a timely manner.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
• Tag and store customer property and components securely.
• Follow SOPs and JSAs when operating ground support equipment.
• Operate and oversee use of special equipment for removal and installation of major components.
• Coordinate with other departments for overhaul or repair of customer property.
