Job summary

Cutter Aviation in San Antonio, TX, seeks maintenance technicians to conduct routine and major inspections on corporate aircraft while complying with FAA regulations and manufacturer instructions.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and modify aircraft systems, remove/ reinstall parts, and perform engine runs as needed. Strong attention to detail and safety are essential in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate (Preferred).
• Five or more years demonstrated experience in aircraft maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Strong understanding in 135 and 145 repair station operations/regulations required.

Responsibilities

• Perform airframe and powerplant repairs, inspections and modifications.
• Removal and disassembly of defective parts, installation of replacement parts and testing of systems.
• Interpret technical manuals, drawings and blueprints.
• Ensure repairs comply with manufacturer data, FAA regulations, service bulletins and ADs.
• Communicate progress with maintenance leads and supervisors.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping and proper tool discipline in the shop.
